Recognise the Signs of Domestic & Family Violence
Domestic & Family Violence doesn't always look the way we expect. It can be hard to name, hard to see, and even harder to talk about. Domestic & Family Violence often involves a pattern of coercive control – behaviours used to dominate, isolate, intimidate, or undermine someone over time. Whether you're concerned about yourself or someone you care about, understanding what to look for is a powerful first step.

Confidentiality
Reassurance.
Everything shared with our service is treated with the strictest confidence. Information will not be shared with partners, family members, employers, or anyone else without consent. There are some legal exceptions - for example, if there is immediate risk to the life or safety of a child. Our counsellors will always explain these exceptions clearly and honestly at the start of the conversation. Choosing to contact our service does not automatically involve police, courts or any other agency. Only you are in control of what happens next.
