How can we assist?
Human & Co offer a range of support services that help restore hope, healing & dignity to those impacted by Domestic and Family Violence.
We provide a safe, confidential place for you and your children when you need to leave an unsafe situation.
Our refuge accommodation offers a quiet space to rest and feel supported, with temporary housing, caring staff, and help to explore longer-term options when you’re ready. Our homes are private, furnished, and supported around the clock, so you can take things one step at a time, knowing you’re not alone.
We offer short-term, trauma-informed support for women who have experienced domestic, family, or sexual violence.
Our Women’s Counselling Service is here for you. Our qualified counsellors provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, work through crisis and healing, and begin to manage the long-term impacts of violence. We’ll support you to recognise your strengths, find new ways to cope, and take back control of your life — at your own pace.

We’re here for you (and your children) when life feels unsafe or overwhelming.
We can meet you where it’s easiest — in your community or other safe spaces — and walk alongside you, offering personalised case management to help you navigate housing options, financial and legal support, and connections to counselling, health, parenting, or education services. We can also assist with essentials, relocation costs, and linking you to local supports, so you have care and guidance every step of the way.
Wilcannia Safe House (WSH) is here for you and your children if you’re experiencing or escaping Domestic and Family Violence in Far Western NSW.
We offer safe overnight, short, or medium-term accommodation, as well as outreach support in the community, wherever you feel most comfortable. Predominantly supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, we provide a space to pause, catch your breath, and make decisions for yourself and your family. You can come during the day for support, a listening ear, or some time out, or stay overnight in our accommodation — we’re here to help you feel safe and supported.
Helping children and young people who are at risk of homelessness or have experienced Domestic and Family Violence.
We work with each child or young person where it feels safest — in our refuges or through outreach — and provide support that is tailored to their age, culture, identity, and life experiences. Our goal is to help them feel heard, supported, and empowered, while working towards their aspirations in a way that meets their individual needs.
